Hyderabad Metro Update: To meet the rising demand from commuters, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) will extend the last train departure time from 11 PM to 11.45 PM, effective April 1. This change will apply from all terminal stations, Monday to Friday. Additionally, the first train on Sundays will now start at 7 AM, while on weekdays, it will continue to depart at 6 AM.
These operational improvements were announced during the closing ceremony of the Hyderabad Metro Art Fest at L&T Premia Mall in Irrum Manzil on Saturday. The enhancements include expanded first and last-mile connectivity and ongoing benefits for students.
In a move aimed at supporting student commuters, the student pass offer has been extended until March 31, 2026. This scheme allows students to pay for 20 trips while enjoying access to 30 trips, encouraging the use of public transport among young people and contributing to reducing CO2 emissions. However, the super saver holiday offer and off-peak discount offer, initiated in April 2024, will conclude on March 31.
To improve the overall travel experience, Hyderabad Metro's official first and last-mile partner, SVIDA Mobility, has increased its fleet to 200 feeder vehicles. This expansion is expected to serve over 16,000 daily commuters, bridging connectivity gaps and enhancing transit convenience.
In addition, L&TMRHL has launched the new ‘T-Savaari’ mobile application and revamped the Hyderabad Metro Passenger Website to further enhance the commuter experience.
The upgraded T-Savaari app introduces several user-friendly features, including journey experience ratings, QR ticket cancellation, ticket booking status, recharge status for cards, and a speech-to-text function for easier station selection.

It complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA standards, offering an inclusive and mobile-friendly browsing experience.
KVB Reddy, MD & CEO of L&TMRHL, remarked that the launch of the T-Savaari app and the upgraded website represents a major advancement towards a digitally empowered transit system. He stated, “By leveraging technology, we are enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and commuter convenience, ensuring our passengers enjoy a smooth and connected metro experience.” These initiatives reflect the company's ongoing commitment to innovation and providing world-class metro services to Hyderabad.
