WWE Night of Champions Card 2025 News: WWE returns to Saudi Arabia this weekend for its highly anticipated Premium Live Event, Night of Champions, taking place in Riyadh on Saturday, June 28, 2025. This year's event will primarily spotlight the culmination of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, alongside a blockbuster Undisputed WWE Championship clash.
Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs CM Punk
In a highly charged main event, John Cena will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk. Cena has publicly declared his intention to retire as the "last real champion" in WWE, a move he controversially claims will "ruin wrestling."
The matchup is particularly noteworthy given Punk's past criticisms of WWE's shows in Saudi Arabia, where he famously mocked wrestlers for taking "blood money" during his time in AEW. Now, as a headliner in Riyadh, Punk asserts he's fighting "for the fans" who oppose Cena's retirement plan, not for the company. Their 2011 Money in the Bank match is etched in WWE history, and fans eagerly await what these two veterans, with 14 more years of wear and tear, will deliver.
"I think you're gonna like what I have in store for all of you."

King of the Ring Final: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes
The men's tournament culminates in a showdown between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Orton secured his spot by winning a fatal four-way in the opening round and overcoming Sami Zayn in the semifinals. Rhodes earned his place by defeating Jey Uso in a compelling semifinal bout. The winner will earn a world championship opportunity at SummerSlam.
Queen of the Ring Final: Asuka vs Jade Cargill
On the women's side, Asuka will face Jade Cargill in the Queen of the Ring Final. Asuka advanced by defeating Alexa Bliss in her semifinal, while Cargill overcame Roxanne Perez in her semifinal match. This represents a significant stage for Cargill, who is relatively new to extensive singles competition in WWE and now faces one of the modern era's most accomplished performers. The winner will also receive a championship match at SummerSlam.
United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs Solo Sikoa
A family feud spills into the ring as Jacob Fatu defends the United States Championship against Solo Sikoa. Hurt feelings and escalating violence erupted after Sikoa failed to reconcile with his cousin, with Fatu suggesting Sikoa's jealousy stemmed from his U.S. title win. Fatu directly approached SmackDown management to secure this championship match.
Street Fight: Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez
The bitter rivalry between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez intensifies in a Street Fight. Their issues trace back to Rodriguez's alliance with Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day. With Morgan sidelined for several months due to a legitimate injury suffered on Raw, Rodriguez steps in for what promises to be a hard-hitting match, playing to both competitors' strengths.
Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross
Kross has been engaged in mind games with several superstars recently, with his focus shifting to Zayn. After falling short of the King of the Ring finals, Zayn had enough of Kross's psychological tactics and issued a direct challenge for a match at Night of Champions.
