Social media is abuzz with speculative theories following Kamala Harris' debate with Donald Trump on Tuesday, with some claiming that her earrings were actually a covert Bluetooth device. As the debate concluded, critics alleged that the gold pearl hoops, which Harris has worn previously and are thought to be from Tiffany’s, were actually smart audio earrings developed by the German start-up NOVA. 

Malte Iversen, managing director of Icebach Sound, the company that manufactures NOVA products, has stated that he cannot confirm or deny whether the earrings in question are from his company.

'We do not know whether Mrs Harris wore one of our products. The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for the use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it,' Iversen told Just News.

Iversen further stated that to maintain fairness, they are developing a male version of the product for the Trump campaign.

“To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon be able to offer it to the Trump campaign. The choice of colour is a bit challenging though as orange does not go well with a lot of colours,” he added.

Soon after the presidential debate ended, rumours began to spread online claiming that Harris’ earrings were actually a Bluetooth device. Users claimed that the earrings worn by the US vice president resembled the Nova H1 audio headset.
