The Izzatnagar division of North Eastern Railway has increased the number of coaches in regular trains, in addition to running special trains for Chhath Puja. This is being done so that passengers do not face any problems. These trains are being operated between stations such as Lalkuan and Rajkot, Kolkata, Virangana Lakshmibai Junction, Jhansi and Prayagraj Junction, as well as from Tanakpur to Achhnera and Kathgodam to Mumbai Central.

Sanatan Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Izzatnagar, stated that the Izzatnagar division operates an average of 45 mail express trains daily. These trains offer general class, second class, and AC class facilities. He mentioned that these trains connect the division to several important metropolitan cities, including Jammu, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Jaisalmer, Singrauli, Shaktinagar, New Delhi, Dorai, Rajkot, Lucknow and Gorakhpur.

Recently, a total of 46 coaches have been added to passenger trains in this division, and a total of five MEMU or DEMU rakes are being operated. Each of these rakes has been fitted with 12 coaches, which is more than before. Based on 80 passengers per coach, this has increased the daily passenger travel capacity by approximately 12,000. This facility has been provided in the Bareilly City-Tanakpur-Ramnagar-Moradabad-Lalkuan circle.
