Faridabad Double Murder: Faridabad police arrested an alleged psycho killer, who is being considered the man behind the double murder, which took place in an abandoned building near Mewala Maharajpur metro station in the city, Dainik Jagran reported on Sunday. According to the report, the psycho killer used a unique modus operandi to kill his targets, offering them free 'ganja' or marijuana and taking them to an abandoned building's dark basement before killing.
Everything was going well for the Faridabad psycho killer before he switched on the mobile phone of one of his victims, giving away his location to Uttar Pradesh police.
Faridabad Double Murder
Avnish, a resident of Major Colony in Mewla Maharajpur and originally from Rohila village in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district, went missing on October 9. He worked at a private company, and on October 12, his brother Pramod reported to the Surajkund police about his disappearance. Though police had Avnish's phone on tracing, it was switched off. Days later, the phone briefly turned on, allowing police to track its location.
Following the lead, officers traced the phone to Aamir Khan, alias Sonu, of Bhati Mohalla, Mewla Maharajpur. Under police questioning, Sonu confessed to luring Avnish to the abandoned SRS Tower building along the highway under the guise of sharing alcohol and marijuana. After Avnish drank, Sonu allegedly stole his phone and money, and when Avnish resisted, Sonu struck him on the head and pushed him from the top of the building. Tragically, Avnish succumbed to his injuries from the fall.
A Body And A Skeleton Discovered At Crime Spot
While police were investigating the murder of Avinash, they took the psycho killer to the crime spot and discovered another body lying beside Avinash's. The second person was identified as Rajbir, a ragpicker and marijuana addict.
According to the Jagran report, the killer met Rajbir, a month ago and lured him with marijuana and alcohol to the same building. After the victim became intoxicated, Sonu tried to steal money, which the Rajbir resisted.
The psycho hit Rajbir on his head, killing him instantly and set his body on fire to destroy the evidence. Police could only find his skeleton at the spot.
Police seized stones and burnt clothes from the spot as evidence. A forensic team was also called to the spot to investigate the case further.
