In Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, two muslim women decided to change their faith, prioritising their love over religion as they tied the knot with their boyfriends in Arya Samaj Temple. Girls, named Swaleheen, Noorfatima, converted to the Hindu religion and got married in a temple in Hapur earlier this week, Amar Ujala reported.
Swaleheen was named Shalini, and Noorfatima was named Neelam after conversion. The video of wedding rituals is making the rounds on social media.
Swaleheen or Shalini, who is a resident of Katghar, was in love with Amit for a long time, but as her family did not accept their relationship, Swaleheen stayed silent and converted to marry Amit Kumar. Noorfatima or Neelam, on the other hand, is from Bhojpur, was in a relationship with Gaurav and chose to convert to live with him, Hindi daily Amr Ujala added.

Arya Samaj officials confirmed the marriage and said that both the girl had gone through a proper conversion process. After gathering information about Shalini and Neelam’s wedding with Amit Kumar and Gaurav Kumar, the police stated that they are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Social media users expressed their on the development and wished the best to both couples. Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Not a good thing to share their video and whereabouts if they are under threat."
Another shared, “Hope they are protected always and do not leave a forwarding address. Hope they have lots of kids and are happy till eternity.
The story of these girls surfaced at a time when there is a row over religious conversion involving Chhangur Baba.
