Sharda University Student Suicide: Amid outrage over self-immolation by a Balasore student, another shocking similar incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida in which a BDS second-year student killed herself by hanging herself in the girls' hostel of Sharda University located in Knowledge Park late on Saturday night. The Knowledge Park Kotwali police reached the spot after getting the information and took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. 

The suicide by student created a huge stir on the University campus. Videos emerged on social media showing hundreds of students gathered outside against the administration, and police personnel are also seen. 

The family members of the student also reached the spot after getting information about the incident.

A suicide note was emerged on social media in which she blamed two teachers, saying they humilated her and she did not want to live like that.

"I, I died the teachers of PCP and Dental meterial are to blame.. Mahinder Sir and Shaira Maam is responsible for my died I want them to go behind the bars. They mental harassed me. They humiliated me. I have been in stress because of them for a long time. I want them to face to the same thing. I am sorry. I can't live like this anymore. I can't," the suicide note read.

As soon as the information was received, the Knowledge Park police station reached the university and the forensic team inspected the spot. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the students of the university started demonstration against the administration. The police somehow calmed the protesting students. Cops arrested two persons on the complaint of the family and started investigating the case.

The students of the university have made many serious allegations while protesting against the administration, the deceased had also highlighted the mental harassment in her suicide note. In which she has accused two of her professors and the management of mental harassment.
