Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is advancing towards a new industrial era with the proposed PM MITRA Park in Lucknow and Hardoi districts. Designed to balance industrial growth with environmental conservation, the park aims to set a benchmark in sustainable development, aligning with the government’s policy of ‘environment with development’.

According to the draft layout, industrial units will occupy 55 per cent of the 100-acre park, while 3 per cent of the land is reserved for residential use, 4 per cent for institutional purposes, 2 per cent for a transport hub, and another 4 per cent for utilities and amenities. Significantly, 11 per cent of the area will be dedicated to greenery and fruit plantations, including green belts and buffer zones to reduce pollution and preserve local biodiversity.
