Delhi Metro Viral Video: A simple metro ride in Delhi turned into a heated argument when a man refused to give up his seat for a woman. The incident, which reportedly happened on the Blue Line near Janakpuri West, was recorded and quickly went viral on social media.

In the video, the man, wearing earphones and carrying a backpack, sits calmly while other passengers try to convince him to stand up. Some ask him to be "the bigger person," while a woman involved in the situation playfully mocks him. However, he doesn’t react much and simply listens with a slight smile.

Despite repeated efforts to make him move, he stays put—until, out of the blue, he stands up. But just as people assume he has finally given in, he casually announces that he was getting off at the next station anyway. His unexpected response leaves everyone surprised, and as he walks away, someone filming the incident jokingly warns that he is about to go viral. And as expected, the video has now taken over social media, sparking debates on whether he was right or wrong.

The viral video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the user '@ShoneeKapoor,' with the caption, "A man has to deal with this after a 9-5 for a seat. It's not even a reserved seat." Shared just a day ago, the clip has already amassed 1.8 million views. Social media users wasted no time in reacting, with opinions divided over the heated metro seat debate.

The video sparked a flurry of reactions online, with users sharing their perspectives on the incident. One user commented, "Nothing wrong in giving one's seat to women. It's the abusive women who don't deserve a seat." Another user criticised the mindset behind such incidents, stating, "This is what happens when women are raised to be weak and play the victim. If you raise strong women, they won’t behave like this. Nowhere in the world do women act like this?"

A third user expressed frustration, writing in Hindi, "Ye aurate mardon ke kandhe se kandha mila kar chalengi, jo kuchh der tak khadi nahi reh sakti" (These women talk about walking shoulder to shoulder with men but can’t even stand for a while). Adding humor to the debate, a fourth user quipped, "Delhi Metro is no less than the UFC Octagon."
