Delhi Metro Viral Video: If the phrase ‘rules are meant to be broken’ could ‘die’, it would have ‘died a thousand deaths’ the moment this particular aunty claimed to follow ‘rules and regulations’ while doing exactly the opposite. In another Delhi metro chaos, a video came forward, where an aunty made headlines after she forcefully squeezed herself in between the other passengers just to make space to sit. What made the incident further attention-grabbing, was that she claimed to be a ‘rules and regulations follower’ while she did the act. The said video of the same was shared online, which went viral on social media in an instant.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘DeepikaBhardwaj’. The post was captioned, “I don't think it is a women's seat. What rule regulations is she talking about?”

The video left people outraged and went viral on social media. Most chastised the woman’s behaviour and pointed out that the men should have not given her their seat after her ‘act’, while the rest cracked jokes on the same. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 56K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Reverse the genders and imagine the outrage!” a user said. “Woh stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai!! (She is a woman, she can do anything),” said a second person. “While given equally to women, we have stopped looking for sense in some of the things that women sometimes do,” said a second person. “Ma'am, this is extreme...It seems that in terms of rights and respect, the condition of poor men in this country is worse than that of animals?” asked another.
“The junior staff in my office once told me that women in the metro squeeze in forcefully even when there's clearly no space. That day I cancelled my plans to use the metro for work. Petrol mehenga hai, lekin chalega (Petrol is expensive, but that’s okay),” added a fourth person.
“Delhi metro is already very crowded. Why don't they start banning people for life? Would be a great thing. Less crowd and more obedient people,” said another.
