Viral Video: The deadly warnings on the packet might not do the deed, but signs like ‘no smoking’ at certain places should be enough to warn smokers, as they also represent certain rules and regulations that are supposed to be followed no matter what. Regardless, ignoring the ‘no smoking’ sign inside a train, two passengers decided to allegedly smoke cigarettes anyway, only to end up doing sit-ups. A video was shared on social media, where an uncle was seen lashing out at the said smokers for smoking in the non-smoking area inside the train. He then went ahead and made them do sit-ups for smoking.
As soon as the clip went viral, it somewhat left people divided, as some found the ‘punishment’ and the schooling a bit ‘unnecessary’, while the rest encouraged the man.
The video went viral and drew reactions from people of all manners. Most hailed the uncle for scolding the men, while the rest raised questions about the man’s authority, and dubbed his handling of the matter ‘harsh’. Many also called it ‘moral policing’.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh inside Indian Railways over some guys were Smoking cigarettes.” The video was shared today and pulled 94K views from people.
