Remember that little dream of yours to open your own Momo shop? Well, it seems like you weren’t alone, because countless netizens expressed their desire to apply for being a ‘helper’ at a Momo shop, after its ‘vacancy’ poster went viral on social media. Of course, the ‘vacancy’ alone did not do the job of pulling in candidates, it was the salary of Rs 25,000 per month that did the deed. Being a helper and being the owner are two different things, YET the offer ended up impressing many.

The post had an image of the said poster, pasted near a Momo shop. The post went viral in no time. However, many people did point out that the said salary will be ‘stagnant’ over the years, while a skilled-based salary will increase with time and experience.

The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘puttuboy25’.

The video is doing rounds on social media as people shared their opinions on the salary and the job offered. Some found it hilarious and jokingly expressed their desire to apply for it, while some were left shocked. The post was shared two days ago and pulled 89K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, netizens expressed their shock. “Applying right now,” a user said. “I think I am seeing the ad for my dream job- will earn and will also get to have momos whenever I want,” said a second. “I am not at all shocked that these people can earn this much and can give this type of salary to a helper. People love momo and a good momo vendor’s earnings will be in lakhs, especially in a country like India where people love momos,” wrote a third person.

“Reality that no one shows,” wrote a fourth person. “An engineer’s salary will increase with time. But here, here it won't and will remain the same no matter how many years,” added another. “Already a plumber in our area says he is earning 50000,” recalled a sixth user. “Average college salary will increase considerably over a period of time, this won't,” commented a seventh person.
