Hyderabad Viral Videos: A husky, its owner, and the rest of the owner’s family ended up in the hospital after reportedly receiving critical injuries post a brutal thrashing by their neighbouring family. The gruesome incident was recorded on a CCTV camera, the videos of which went viral on social media. Based on the footage’s data, the incident took place on May 14, in Hyderabad. As per reports, the attacker, Dhanunjay, previously claimed that some of his family members were attacked by the pet husky on May 08. The attack, as per Dhanunjay, took place when the husky accompanied its owner, Madhu, to a postal ballot for casting a vote.

As per News Meter, a case was registered at the Madhura Nagar police station over the matter, where both families filed their complaints.

However, the dispute turned into a nightmare for Madhu’s family, when his brother, Srinath, was attacked by Dhanunjay and four others. The incident unfolded when Srinath was out with the pet dog for a walk. The thrashing only further escalated when Srinath’s family tried to save him, as they also ended up receiving some critical blows from sticks-carrying attackers. The clash was finally stopped when a few more neighbours came in support of the victims. However, the attackers then went ahead and later attacked the pet dog as well, a video of which was also shared.

As per reports, the victims, along with the poor pet, were hospitalised for their critical injuries. A case was then registered under the Section 147, 148, 307 r/w 34 IPC and the Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, as per News Meter. The case was filed under the Maduranagar police, while the five accused were promptly arrested.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘TeluguScribe’. The post was captioned, “Atrocious.. The dog, the owner, and his wife were attacked for coming into the house. Maduranagar - Srinath's pet dog in Rahmat Nagar went into Dhanunjay's house opposite. A fight broke out between the two and seeing this, Dhanunjay along with his two friends attacked and beat Srinath, Srinath's wife and pet dog with sticks.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This is a sad news, this must be stopped! For how long will such incidents keep happening?” a user said. “Dog lost its duty, it didn't bark, it didn't attack. The dog should have given a good lesson to them,” asked a second person. “@TelanganaDGP @cyberabadpolice @TelanganaCMO please have a look, it’s horrible,” added a third user.

“Shameful to see men even not rushing/ Trying to stop, thankfully women are brave enough to interrupt to stop at least. ( I know it's not ideal to be involved when fighting with weapons, but at least they should have tried to stop rather than watching),” added another.
