Viral Video: The last thing anyone could have ever imagined before India finally got its independence in 1947, was the possibility of people in the UK ever dancing to a Bollywood song. But that is exactly what happened at London’s Trafalgar Square, where several people were seen dancing to the hit Hindi song ‘London Thumakda’. In a nutshell, Kangana Ranaut’s popular song truly came to life, it seemed. A video of the same was shared on the internet, which went viral and intrigued people. The clip especially received love from desi netizens.
The song ‘London Thumakda’ is a hit from the film ‘Queen’. The film starred Kangana Ranaut and was released in 2013.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Himani Dhawan’. The post was captioned, “POV: When lyrics actually come true in London.”
“Okay, so for those who know me, it’s no secret how much I adore the movie Queen and the song London Thumakda! There hasn’t been a party where I’ve missed dancing to this song.
As I was casually strolling through Trafalgar Square, I stumbled upon @speakerboxparty getting people to dance! Of course, I joined in, but little did I know they were going to play this song!
The moment it started playing, I was internally screaming with excitement! It felt like a dream come true, dancing to London Thumakda in the heart of London with so many strangers! This was definitely the highlight of my trip!” the post further read.
