Mostly, one of the worst things a candidate can do- apart from flunking their interview or test- is upsetting or misbehaving with the hiring manager. Even after rejection, one usually maintains good ties with employers, keeping in mind the possibility of a future opportunity. However, NOT this candidate. Taking to her social media, a Noida HR recently exposed a candidate for some disgusting interaction, after he was rejected. Sharing the screenshots of the conversation the two had, the HR professional chastised such behaviour. The texts, on the other hand, were evidently inappropriate, flirty, and disturbing. The post was quick to go viral on social media, leaving people shocked over the bizarreness.

The LinkedIn post, after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most people found the texts and the candidate’s professionalism disgusting, while the rest suggested taking action against the man or taking the organisation’s help.

The post was shared on LinkedIn, on the HR’s handle. The post read, “As an HR professional, I've observed a disturbing trend:- Candidates who don't get selected, start to disregard their boundaries. Inappropriate nighttime texts and calls have become a regular occurrence. Let's be clear, rejection is a chance for growth, not an invitation to overstep. My phone number is solely for professional communication. As professionals, you're here to build your careers, if not then at least strive to be respectful human beings who value others' boundaries and time.”

“I've shared screenshots to illustrate the severity of this issue, without hiding numbers, as this needs to be exposed. I'm committed to maintaining a respectful and calm demeanour, even in the face of inappropriate behaviour. Don't mistake this for my weakness. Remember, those who can't maintain even a basic level of professionalism, have already failed - both as a professional and as a human being. Good luck!” The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 14K views from people.
