Pakistan Viral Video: Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan turned out to be the highlight at a Pakistani wedding, despite not being present at the function. ‘How’, you ask? Well, the groom is to be credited here, who had one of the most peculiar gifts to present to his new bride. Believe it or not, the groom gifted a portrait of Imran Khan to his bride as a wedding gift. What made the moment further viral was that this unique present was presented on stage, in front of all the guests. A video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral.
As soon as the bride realised what the gift was, she, along with the groom, began to laugh and pose with the portrait. With Khan being in jail amid heavy support from many, netizens believed that the gesture was an attempt to show support towards the popular political leader. The video received all kinds of reactions, where many called it an ‘uncalled for’ move, while some advocated for the couple and echoed the motto of ‘live and let live’.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘halfbakedtruths’. The post was captioned, “Becoming a common occurrence now. How long before they put a ban on this?” The post was shared yesterday and received 719K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “The number of people triggered by this post. Ever heard of live and let live?” a user said. “We are a nation with a ‘ban’ mindset. There is no room for others' opinions or affections unless they are similar to our own,” added a second person. “First they'll release a video of couples with maryam nawaz's pictures at their wedding. once they're sure it isn't having the desired effect, they'll ban it,” added another.
“You mean a ban on shaadis? This country really needs that,” added a fourth person. “Why ban? Just hang him for his crimes... simple,” wrote a fifth person. “Yeah it's their life, their call - but I wouldn't be associated with such a mindset of people,” joined a sixth person. “Dare I say, this was a very personal moment of marriage. why bring a third person,” wrote another.
