It’s Bengaluru again and no one is even surprised. A groom made major headlines for his unique baraat procession and instantly won the internet for his out-of-the-box idea. The said groom in question, ditching the centuries-old ‘horse ride’ ritual, chose to ride a scooter for his baraat instead, which drew the internet's attention. Not only did people call it handy, but also appreciated the efforts in keeping animals out of the ‘wedding cruelty’ that they often face during such festive ceremonies. A picture of the groom dancing beside the well-decorated scooter was shared online, which went viral on the internet.

People were quick to call the idea a typical example of the ‘peak Bengaluru things’. The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘peakbengaluru’. The post was captioned, “Horses in weddings are being replaced by Ather in @peakbengaluru.”
