Kolkata Viral Video: Heavy rains often leave Kolkata’s streets waterlogged but this time the flood brought an unusual sight that has stunned social media. A viral video shows a snake gliding through a flooded lane with a fish tightly held in its mouth. The video, filmed from inside a house, perfectly captures the moment as the snake swims across the water. At the beginning of the video, a line flashes on the screen: 'Just Kolkata things.'

Sharing the video on Instagram, user Atreyee Mitra added a witty caption: “Kolkata and its little perks, right before Durga Pujo.” Many viewers quickly identified the snake as a Checkered Keelback, locally known as Jol Dhora.
