Viral Video: Recently, the Centre passed a new Hit and Run Law under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, and the nation is reacting in a mixed manner. Where most commuters have expressed their support for the stricter law, truckers, auto drivers, bus drivers and a few more are protesting against the change, leading to a surge in petrol prices in several parts of the country. Amid all this, a Zomato delivery guy in Telangana went viral for coming up with a unique solution. The said man’s video of doing deliveries on a horse went viral, as riding a horse would not involve any kind of fuel. As soon as the video went viral, people found his solution relatable and hilarious. 

The video was shared on the social media platform (formerly Twitter), by the user ‘sourabh2610’. The post was captioned, “#Zomato Delivery Agent Drops Order In #Hyderabad On A Horse. Reason: Fuel Shortage.”

The video, after getting shared on social media, instantly went viral. Most people lauded the man for his promptness, while others found the guy’s actions relatable amid the high surge in petrol prices. Many also commented on the new hit-and-run law and sided with it getting stricter. The post was shared today and has been viewed countless times by people.

Taking to the internet, people shared their views on the video and the incident. “Amidst the shortage of petrol and diesel, a video has surfaced from Hyderabad, Telangana. Due to petrol, the food delivery boy left his bike and went out to deliver on a horse,” a user said. “Did you see this!? #Zomato guy delivering food ..at Hyderabad. Fuel shortage… #LorryStrike,” commented a second person. “Zomato Agent Delivers Food On Horse after the pumps ran out of petrol,” said a third person. “Oh, what a relief !! Who needs fuel anyway when you have horseback delivery,” added a fourth netizen. 

“Best ever Delivery by #Zomato Delivery Boy. Due to long lines at #petrolpump, this man saved time and delivered food in time on a horse,” commented another.
