Hunting for flats in Bengaluru might be a popular issue, but renting out costly yet highly congested apartments in Mumbai still rules the charts. Mumbai and its tiny apartments are quite common all across the country and, with time, it has become an accepted fact, especially for the Mumbaikar. A video depicting something similar surfaced online, where a man was seen giving a tour of his 1BHK flat in the ‘city of dreams’. The video went viral and left people feeling extremely uncomfortable over the issue of space. The man presented the video in a parody form and gave a detailed tour of the tiny but very costly flat.
The video was shared by the Instagram user ‘SUMIT PALVE’. The post was captioned, “Aajao boss Dikha Dunga! South Bombay hai boss compromise to Karna Padega Boss.”
In the video, the boy gave a tour of his entire 1BHK flat. He started with a small room that was full of basic necessities, but the space looked extremely congested. He then moved on to a kitchen that almost ended as soon as it started. A bathroom with a low roof was also attached to the kitchen. The boy then moved to another floor with a room on the top. The room was small and empty. Calling it the roof, the boy then gave a tour of the ‘roof’. He also showed a pet cat that was resting in the other room. In the entire video, the boy sounded like a usual Mumbai broker.

The video went viral as the netizens found it hilarious. Most people called the depiction apt and ranted about the space issue that citizens often face in Mumbai. Others spoke about the unbelievable rents that the landlords are asking in Mumbai. The post was shared a few weeks ago and pulled 106K likes from netizens.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Pata nahi gutan si ho Rahi h video dekhte waqt (I felt suffocated while watching the video),” a user said. “Mujhe mera ghar toh ab mahal lagne lga (My house feels like a palace now),” added a second. “I was suffocated till he reached the terrace,” said a third. “Claustrophobic me having breathing issues,” joined a fourth netizen. “Jail is a better place than this,” said a fifth netizen. “Terrace is much much better than the 1st one,” said a sixth viewer. “Imagine the life of people who actually manage to live here,” added a seventh person. “That cat is the only one living there rent-free,” added another. “The worst thing is, the washroom and kitchen,” said a ninth.
