Viral Video: Foodies and people who love cooking, can make almost anything, even with the simplest of kitchen resources and ingredients. However, this woman took the same belief straight to her heart, and ended up cooking an entire ‘fried chicken and waffle’ meal inside her car. Yes, her car. Using electric utensils, the woman, it seems, had a lot of trust on a plastic platform where she was frying her chicken in a utensil full of hot oil. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral. However, as per netizens’ reaction, the clip was more troubling than impressive.
Most people were mostly concerned about a possible accident that might have taken place because of the hot oil, while some had their fair share of questions about the woman’s hygiene as they saw no tap or source of watch for hand washing around.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Sophie Saldana’. The post was captioned, “Cooking fried chicken in the car.”

Taking to the comments section, people shared their take. “Will this be in the carfax report?” a user said. “She must get a 2-hour lunch … I barely have enough time to use that bathroom at work,” added another person. “This is so stupid for views. Imagine a slip happened and you literally burn half your body with scalding hot oil. All for views. It was cute at first but now it’s just not thinking this shit through,” added another.
“Handling raw chicken in your car, with no place to wash your hands, is - and let me be clear, fucking disgusting. Some folks really need to work in a restaurant before they start cooking lmao,” added a fourth user. “Now somebody tells me why she could not cook that at home and bring it to lunch,” added another.
“I have so many questions and concerns. did you disinfect your car after using the raw chicken? did you wash your hands before eating? how long is your lunch break? if your lunch break is this long to cook, why wouldn’t you just go home? unless you don’t have a home, which is okay if you’re homeless, no judgment here. I’ve been there. or you could just go out to eat? or meal prep before you go to work? did the oil popping not burn you or your car? does your car not smell like oil now? how often do you cook in your car?” asked a fifth person.
