Viral Viral: Despite committing a crime, a thief went viral and left the internet impressed with a clever disguise. Using a garbage bag as a cover, the robber successfully stole a package from a residence’s front porch in California’s Sacramento. However, the incident was captured on the CCTV camera that was installed near the front door, the video of which went viral on social media. The incident, as per the Washington Post, unfolded with Omar Gabriel Munoz, the owner of the stolen package. As per reports, he eventually found the disguise funny and did not file a complaint.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘ppv_tahoe’. The post was captioned, “Sacramento, California.— A thief disguised in a garbage bag slowly walked up and grabbed someone’s package off their porch. Happened on Northwood Road.”

The video, soon after being shared on social media, went viral on the internet. Most people were against the act, while some commended the idea. Many also shared hilarious jokes about the incident. The post was shared a while back and pulled 13K likes from people.

“I really can't believe how far your imagination can go! Of the human being if we used that imagination to do positive things, this world would be better,” said a sixth person. “Shit if you're gonna go to this length you can have it just for giving me a show. I'll just have Amazon send a replacement,” said a seventh person. “This is a child, a little girl with a bedroom slipper, and knows exactly the camera would only show so much, therefore, she is a close neighbour!” wrote another.
