Viral Dance Video: Dancing in public, creating a nuisance for commuters, ignoring people making uncomfortable faces and blocking the passage, has almost turned into somewhat of a trend in India, that Instagram reels and other dance influencers are seemingly trying to follow. Doing something similar in what appeared to a foreign country, a woman went viral as desis called her dance video ‘embarrassing’. The woman in question was dancing on a bridge, to the hit song ‘Yimmy Yimmy’. However, more than her dance, people were pointing out the ‘unsettling reactions’ that passersby gave to the dancer.
The song ‘Yimmy Yimmy’ is a recently released track that featured Jacqueline Fernandez in the music video and was sung by Tayc, Shreya Ghoshal and Rajat Nagpal.
The video went viral in no time and left people reacting. Most called the woman’s dance in public ‘embarrassing’, while the rest chastised her for creating a ‘hindrance’ for the rest of the commuters. Some also called her dance video a result of a ‘lack of awareness’.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘rousel.kl0’. The post read, “Yimmy Yimmy.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 56K likes from netizens.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Not cool and we should respect other ppl space!” a user said. “This is so embarrassing please don’t do this again,” added a second person. “The lack of self-awareness is astounding,” commented a third user. “Really not cool. Public not comfortable,” commented a fourth netizen.
“I like your confidence dancing in the crowds,” added another. “So being disrespectful & filming people without their consent is a flex now?” wrote a sixth person. “Is it not annoying and hammering for the public? Think like a normal human being down to earth. You can use your home or club for your dancing worm,” added a seventh person.
