Canada Hindu Attack:  The members of the Hindu community, who gathered in protest of a Sunday temple attack by Khalistani extremists in Brampton in Canada's Ontario, alleged that they were manhandled and misbehaved by the Canadian police. Many videos surfaced over social media showing the cops using force against the members of the Canadian Hindu community during their peaceful protest at the Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Mandir.

In one such video, three policemen were seen overpowering a teenager present at the scene while attempting to arrest him. Several adults who were held back by other cops were seen and heard urging the policemen to spare the youth.

"He's just a kid, please leave him. He's just a kid," an adult male voice could be heard in the background of the video as the three policemen held the boy on the ground on his stomach and their knees placed over his neck.

The video has sparked a huge outrage over social media. Several users slammed the Trudeau government for its biased actions targeting the Hindu minority community and harbouring Khalistani extremists and vandals who attacked peaceful devotees.

"Shameful and unacceptable! Targeting a Hindu temple reflects deep bias. The Indian government should seriously consider ending all diplomatic ties with Canada as long as
@JustinTrudeau continues to support such divisive actions," a user @iAroraDeepak said.

"What's going on in Canada? Three policemen on a teenager? Are you there @UNHumanRights? What about @UN?" another user @ddbhaiya wrote.

Hindus Urge Unification

After being attacked by Khalistani extremists and further biased action by Canadian cops, the members of the Hindu community staged a protest in Brampton, uniting together from different places. The protestors raised slogans of 'Everyone will have to unite' and asked the Trudeau government to take stock of the situation.

The priest of Brampton’s Hindu temple also called on the Hindu community to stand together in solidarity. “We need to remain united. Only through unity will we be safe,” he stated. During his remarks, attendees at the temple chanted slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."

Trudeau Reacts

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also reacted to the attack on the Hindu community in Brampton.

"The violence that took place today at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton is unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to practice their religion freely and safely. Thank you to Peel Regional Police for responding quickly to protect the community and investigate this incident," PM Trudeau wrote on X.
