Aprilia Tuareg 660: Italian superbike manufacturer Aprilia has finally launched the much anticipated Tuareg 660 in the Indian market. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 18.85 lakh that goes up to Rs 19.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The Atreides Black and Canyon Sand colour variants of the Tuareg 660 are priced at Rs 18.85 lakh, while the Dakar Podium livery is being offered at Rs 19.16 lakh. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is being brought to India via the CBU route, however, that still doesn’t justify its astonishingly high price for some buyers.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 - Engine Specs
Talking about the engine of the Aprilia Tuareg 660, it is powered by the same powerful engine found in Aprilia's RS and Tuono 660 models. This unit is a liquid cooled, 659cc, parallel-twin engine that is capable of producing a power output of 80 bhp and 70 Nm of torque. Despite being a twin-cylinder adventure bike, it's relatively light as it weighs 204 kg with a full 18-litre fuel tank. However, its tall seat height of 860mm might make it challenging for shorter riders.
Aprilia Tuareg 660 - Hardware
The bike's frame is made of tubular steel and utilises the engine as a stressed member, which is a common design in Aprilia's 660 series. The Tuareg 660 is equipped with fully adjustable USD fork and monoshock suspension from KYB, providing 240mm of wheel travel at both the front and rear. For braking, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 features twin 300mm disc brakes at the front with Brembo callipers and a single 260mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. It rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheel setup.
Aprilia Tuareg 660 - Features
In terms of features, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 offers a range of rider aids like traction control, engine braking control, cruise control, four riding modes (including customisable options), and switchable dual-channel ABS.
