Nissan Magnite Recalled: Nissan India has announced a recall of certain variants of the Nissan Magnite. The recall has been announced for units produced between November 2020 and December 2023. This recall is specifically for a modification in the front door handle sensors and affects only the base XE and mid XL variants. However, cars made after December 2023 are not part of this recall.

The recall is a precautionary measure and doesn't impact how the vehicle drives. Customers can continue using their cars as usual. The replacement of the new sensors will be done at Nissan service centers without any cost to the customers.

Nissan Magnite Facelift 

The Nissan Magnite was launched in the Indian market in 2020. Now, the Japanese automaker is gearing up to launch the facelift model of the Nissan Magnite in the Indian market. Recently, a camouflaged test model of the Magnite facelift was spotted in Chennai. While the exact changes are not confirmed, it's expected that the sub-compact SUV will get updated bumpers at the front and rear, along with some changes in the lighting setup.

In terms of its engine specs, no major changes are anticipated in the Nissan Magnite facelift. It will continue to be available with two engine choices.The standard engine is capable of producing a power output of 70 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged unit generates a power output of 98 bhp and 152 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the standard engine has a 5-speed AMT option, whereas the turbocharged engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission.

The current-gen Nissan Magnite is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) that goes up to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec model. The current Nissan Magnite is offered in four broad variants - XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium.
