The demand for the electric two-wheelers in India is witnessing an upward trend with new companies entering the EV two-wheeler market. Companies like Hero Electric, Ather Energy, Bajaj Auto and Revolt Motors have been actively producing electric scooters and bikes.

Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer, Ather, has unveiled its most affordable electric scooter on Friday, the Ather 450 S. The Ather 450 S is in direct competition with Ola S1 Air, which was released in July this year. However, the Ather 450 S is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the Ola Air. Ather 450 and 450X are the other popular models manufactured by Ather Energy.
