JE Auto Desk: Hyundai Motor Company has introduced its highly anticipated IONIQ 5 N, the first high-performance, all-electric model under the N brand. The IONIQ 5 N signifies the N brand's commitment to electrification and offers a thrilling driving experience both on the road and on the track. Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Performance
The dual motor in Hyundai's first high-performance EV has a combined output of up to 609 hp and a maximum speed of 21,000 rpm. According to Hyundai, the N Grin Boost mode is a specific boost mode that allows the vehicle to produce a maximum of 650 hp. According to the company, the vehicle has a top speed of 260 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds.
A 350kW DC fast charger and an 84kWh battery power the vehicle. The business claims that it takes just 18 minutes to fully charge the car from empty to 80 per cent.
Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Features
The IONIQ 5 N's design incorporates elements that improve performance, such as a rear spoiler with wings, black trim, and a more pronounced diffuser. Its athletic image is further enhanced by the N-exclusive "Luminous Orange" highlights and forged 21-inch aluminium wheels. The steering wheel, seats, door scuff plates, and metal pedals all feature tastefully applied N branding within the car, fostering a unified and track-focused environment.
The vehicle reportedly has an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and also comes equipped with N e-shift and N Active Sound Plus. Additionally, it includes a 10-speaker system with three different themes: Ignition, Evolution, and Supersonic. There are eight speakers inside and two outdoors. It has the potential to sound like a turbocharged petrol engine.
For those who enjoy torque and speed, the automobile also has N Torque Distribution and N Drift Optimiser features. Additionally, it has an N pedal and is specifically made for high speeds rather than energy economy. Additionally, it has the ability to load other gadgets onto the vehicle, using the battery of the EV to power them.

The car's formal debut in India has yet to be declared by the business. It will first be accessible in South Korea before making its global debut.
