2024 Kia Carens: South Korean automaker Kia has unveiled the 2024 Carens for the Indian market. This new model introduces nine new variants, bringing the total number of options to 30. Kia has revamped the Carens as it now gets a new transmission option for the diesel engine, along with a range of new features and a fresh exterior colour.

2024 Kia Carens - Price 

The prices of the new variants of the Carens begin at Rs 12.12 lakh (ex-showroom) while the base-level variant is available at Rs 10.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line X-Line variant, now updated with exclusive features, is priced at 19.67 lakh (ex-showroom).

2024 Kia Carens - New Variants 

2024 Kia Carens has been introduced with nine new variants across various trims. These include options like Premium, Premium (O), Prestige, Prestige+, Luxury, and Luxury+, available in both six and seven-seat configurations. 

2024 Kia Carens - Powertrain Updates

One of the major updates in the 2024 Carens MPV is the introduction of a six-speed manual transmission with 1.5-litre diesel engine alongside the existing six-speed automatic. This diesel engine is capable of generating a power output of 113 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. 

2024 Kia Carens - New Colours 

In terms of colours, Kia has introduced the Pewter Olive shade across most trims, except for the X-Line variant. This colour was first seen in the Kia Seltos facelift. Customers now have a choice of eight single-tone, three dual-tone, and one matte-grey colour, exclusively available in the X-Line trim.

2024 Kia Carens - New Features 

The X-Line variant of the Kia Carens has received additional features, such as a dashcam and voice commands to control windows. It now also offers a seven-seat configuration as it was previously only available with six seats. Additionally, the charger provided with the X-Line now boasts a higher power output of 180W, replacing the previous 120W charger, and is now standard across all variants. Other variants have also been upgraded with new features. The Prestige+ (O) trim now includes a sunroof, LED map and room lamps, while the Prestige (O) trim offers leatherette-wrapped gear knobs, smart keys with push-button start and various LED lighting enhancements. The Premium (O) trim has features like keyless entry, an 8-speaker audio system, mounted steering wheel controls, a shark fin antenna, burglar alarms, and enhanced safety features.
