Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Ahead of its concept vehicle reveals scheduled on August 15, Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Batman Edition at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. With the new launch, Mahindra has added the BE 6 to the Dark Edition model line-up. Bookings for the model begin on August 23 for a nominal amount of Rs 21,000. The company will commence deliveries on September 20, on International Batman Day. Note that the Batman Edition is a limited-run special model. It will have a production run of 300 units.

The BE 6 Batman Edition gets a treatment similar to all Dark Editions. Launched in partnership with DC Comics, the Batman Edition features a custom Satin Black paint on the outside. Up front, the car gets a Batman-themed decal on the front doors, in addition to gold finishes for the Batman emblem seen on the front fenders. The Batman emblem is also slapped on the rear bumper and hubcaps. Sides boast 20-inch alloy wheels (standard) with Alchemy Gold brake callipers. Moreover, there is also the special 'The Dark Knight' badging on the roof and tailgate.

Inside, the Batman Edition features a dual-tone Black and Alchemy Gold interior. The suede-leather upholstery sits in contrast with the Gold Sepia accent stitching. Other notable bits include a fixed glass roof, night trail carpet lamps, ambient lighting, Alchemy Gold accents on the steering wheel, and a charcoal leather instrument panel. There are also gold accents around the centre console and AC vents, along with The Dark Knight trilogy logos on the door handles, dashboard, and seats.

Features such as dual 12.9-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, ventilated front seats, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, dual-zone automatic climate, seven airbags, and a 360-degree camera have been carried over from the regular model.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Battery, Range

Based on the top-end Pack Three variant, the Batman Edition packs a 79kWh battery and a rear axle-mounted electric motor. The battery yields a claimed range of 683km (ARAI). On offer are 7.2kW and 11kW AC chargers.
