Mahindra XEV 9S Launch In India: Mahindra is all set to launch its premium 7-seater electric SUV, the Mahindra XEV 9S, in India on November 27, 2025. The XEV 9S is based on the XEV 9E electric SUV, and it will be based on the same INGLO Platform. The brand has already shared a few teasers, sharing a few glimpses about the design, interior, and features of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Design
The upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to feature a light bar at the front, which runs along the length of the bonnet. It also gets vertically placed LED light bars at the front, which look very similar to the XUV.e8 concept. The upcoming XEV 9S will also feature a shark-fin antenna, rear wiper, connected taillamps, body-coloured ORVMs, sleek LED DRLs, flush door handles, aero alloy wheels, black roof rails, and fog lamps.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Battery & Range
The brand has not yet revealed the battery capacity and range output of its upcoming EV, but the XEV 9S is expected to carry forward the same battery configurations as the XEV 9e. The XEV 9e is available with options of two battery packs: 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, with a claimed range of 656km and 542km, respectively. An all-wheel-drive powertrain setup is likely to be added at a later stage for the 7-seater electric SUV.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Features
Mahindra recently confirmed through a teaser that the upcoming XEV 9S will be equipped with a tri-screen setup similar to the one in the XEV 9e. The tri-screen setup in the XEV 9e comprises a central touchscreen-based infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a passenger's display. The trailer also shows a two-spoke steering wheel with the 'Infinity' logo, black-coloured seats, and a new drive selector knob. We also expect the XEV 9S to include a dual-zone climate control system, powered and ventilated front seats, Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.
