Mercedes Benz on Wednesday launched the GLC Model in India at a starting price of Rs 73.50 lakh for the petrol variant. The GLC is one of the most successful models for Mercedes-Benz across the world as the German automobile giant has sold nearly 26 lakh units of the GLC model since its global debut in 2016. The Mercedes GLC sits between the second-generation Mercedes and the GLA and GLE SUVs.
Mercedes Benz GLC: Space and Design
The GLC now has an extended wheelbase and is marginally longer, that provides additional interior space for the backseat of the car. The SUV's face now has more streamlined LED lighting modules that blend seamlessly into the front radiator grille. At the bottom, there is a chrome under guard.
The character lines and wheel arches of the 19-inch wheels have undergone an update, although the alloy design is still largely the same as the previous generation. The GLC has modified tail lights with a 3D effect in the back. The same under guard is present here as well, finessed with a chrome finish.
