JLR India after unveiling the Range Rover Velar facelift in July has now finally launched the premium SUV for the Indian market. The new Range Rover Velar will only be available in its top-spec HSE variant and is priced at Rs 94.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the SUV already began post its unveiling in July and deliveries are also expected to begin soon.

Range Rover Velar - Design 

The Range Rover Velar's exterior has received subtle updates, featuring new pixel LED headlights with adjusted LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and redesigned wraparound LED tail lights at the rear. The bumpers, front grille, and side profile have also been tweaked. Fresh alloy wheels and flared wheel arches have also been included. Additionally, two new color options, Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Grey, have been introduced.

Range Rover Velar - Cabin

The 2023 Range Rover Velar's interior now features a redesigned dashboard with fewer physical controls on the center console. The notable addition is the new 11.4-inch Land Rover’s Pivi Pro system, which is configured with various in-car functions, including driving modes, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features like an air purifier, wireless charging, noise cancellation, heated and ventilated massage seats, Meridian sound system,Terrain Response 2 system and four zone climate control are also included.

Range Rover Velar - Powertrain 

For power, the Range Rover Velar will be available with two engine options; a four-cylinder 2.0-litre  petrol engine and a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine. Both the engines are capable of producing a power output of 296 bhp and 201 bhp respectively and are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. JLR India claims that the petrol engine can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
