Honda Rebel 500: Honda has launched its new bobber-style bike, CMXRebel 500, in India at 5.12 lakhs (Ex-showroom). This bike will rival Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Kawasaki Eliminator 500 in the country. The CMX Rebel 500 will be sold as a CBU in the Indian two-wheeler market, and the price tag on this bike is a bit expensive. Here is all the information about the Honda Rebel 500.
Honda Rebel draws its power from a 471cc inline 2 liquid-cooled engine, which generates 46 hp and 43.3 Nm of torque. This engine is integrated with a 6-speed gearbox, and the bike gets 16-inch wheels at both ends. While the rear end gets a 130mm wide tyre, the front end gets a 150mm tyre section. The Bike also gets a negative LCD unit and dual-channel ABS as well.

Honda Rebel’s pricing makes it one of the most expensive bobbers available in India. One of the toughest rivals of the Rebel 500 is the Kawasaki Eliminator 500, and it is Rs 64,000 more expensive when compared to the Japanese bobber bike. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 are some of the best rivals of the bike in the country, as they are priced at Rs 3.59 lakh (Ex-showroom) and Rs 3.68 lakh (Ex-showroom).
Honda Rebel 500 is based on a steel tubular frame, and while the bike gets a dual-shock setup at the rear end, it gets a telescopic front suspension setup. The bike will be offered in a single matt gunpowder black metallic paint, and it will be available on all Honda Bigwing outlets located in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gurugram. While official bookings are underway, official deliveries of the bikes will commence from June 2025 onwards.
