The safest petrol car in India is the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, launched in September 2025. The Victoris has secured a 5-star rating from BNCAP and Global NCAP. Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Safety Ratings
As informed earlier, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris comes equipped with a 5-star BNCAP rating, along with a 5-star Global NCAP rating. In BNCAP, the Victoris secured 31.66 points out of a total of 32 points in adult safety, whereas it scored 43 points out of a total of 49 points for child occupant safety. While in GNCAP, it secured 33.72 points out of a total of 34 points in adult safety, whereas it scored 41 points out of a total of 49 points for child occupant safety.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Safety Features
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is loaded with advanced safety features, and it is the first Maruti car to receive a Level-2 ADAS suite. The ADAS suite on Maruti Suzuki Victoris gets features such as lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitor, and more.
