Maruti Suzuki Baleno Safety Ratings: Maruti Suzuki Baleno is a popular hatchback in India, and it is also sold in international markets such as Latin America, Japan, Europe, Australia, and More. Maruti Suzuki Baleno Crash Test
The 6-airbag variant of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno scored 2-star safety in the Latin NCAP, whereas the 2-airbag variant of the Maruti managed to score only 1-star in the crash test. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno scored 79 per cent in Adult Occupant Protection. While the hatchback by Maruti Suzuki scored 65 per cent in terms of Child Occupant Protection, it also scored 48 per cent in pedestrian safety. The absence of the Level 2 ADAS suite negatively affected the crash test performance of the hatchback.
