Yamaha Aerox S Version: Yamaha Motor India has introduced a new top-end variant of its Aerox 155 electric scooter called the Aerox S Version. The Yamaha Aerox S Version has been launched at a price of Rs 1,50,600 (ex-showroom). This variant will be exclusively available at Blue Square showrooms in Silver and Racing Blue colour options.

Yamaha Aerox S Version - Features
The standout feature of the 2024 Yamaha Aerox S is its smart key system, making the ignition process keyless. Instead of inserting and twisting a key, the scooter detects that the key is close, allowing the rider to start the scooter by twisting a knob. Yamaha has also included additional features like a buzzer sound, answer-back capability and blinking indicators for added convenience. The Aerox S also boasts a traction control system to prevent the rear wheel from slipping on slippery surfaces. Other notable features include all-LED lighting, an automatic start/stop system and a silent start motor.
Moreover, Yamaha has integrated Bluetooth connectivity into the Aerox S through its Y-Connect application. This app provides useful information such as fuel consumption, maintenance reminders, last parking location, fault notifications, revs dashboard and rider rankings. Additionally, the scooter comes with a front pocket and a 12V power socket for charging devices. The under-seat storage capacity is 24.5 litres, providing ample space for storing essentials.
Yamaha Aerox S Version - Engine Specs
Talking about the engine specs, it is powered by a modified version of the engine found in the YZF-R15 and MT-15 motorcycles. The 155cc, liquid-cooled engine delivers a power output of 14.8 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque. The engine is designed to run on E20 petrol.
