In light of past incidents during festivals, authorities have issued strict directives to ensure heightened vigilance, continuous monitoring, and robust security arrangements across the district for Eid. A total of 245 locations will be under surveillance, with magistrates, police officers, and security personnel deployed in large numbers.
A control room will be established at the district level, staffed by senior officials, to monitor the situation. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police have directed officials to maintain strict vigilance, including close surveillance of anti-social elements.
Peace committees will be formed and meetings held at block, police station, sub-divisional, and district levels. Magistrates have been instructed to remain at their assigned posts and avoid negligence. Daily reports will be submitted by station house officers through the appropriate channels until the conclusion of the festival.
