Under Section 12(1)(c) of the Right to Education Act 2009, several private schools in the block area will offer free education to children from economically weaker sections through the Gyandeep portal for the 2025-26 academic session. With the first phase of online enrollment for students from underprivileged backgrounds now complete, the second phase of applications will be accepted from March 25 to April 10.
Parents can apply online via the Gyandeep portal for admission to various private schools, including MJB in Pasadhi village, New Patna Central School Biju Bigha, New Patna Central School Rasalpura, and New Nawada Central School. To apply, students must provide their caste, residence, and income certificates along with an Aadhaar card.

Block Education Officer (BEO) Pawan Kumar stated that the verification of student applications will be conducted from March 26 to April 12, after which schools will be allotted online. The admission process for selected students will commence on April 16, while children allotted seats in the second list will be admitted between April 16 and April 25.
He also noted that only two students were admitted in the first phase in Mesraur block, emphasising the need for increased awareness about the scheme. He urged eligible families to take advantage of this opportunity to secure free education for their children in private schools under the RTE Act.
