Patna News: Two assailants shot and killed undertrial prisoner Abhishek Kumar, also known as Chhote Sarkar, who was brought in by the police in Patna's Danapur court on Friday. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, according to Patna City SP Rajesh Kumar. The incident occurred during Abhishek Kumar's court appearance. Police have launched an investigation.
"Abhishek Kumar aka Chhote Sarkar was attacked by two people who shot at him in Danapur court. Further investigation is underway. Abhishek Kumar passed away in the attack. Two accused taken into custody," said the Patna City SP Rajesh Kumar.
The incident took place on Friday afternoon when Abhishek Kumar, known as Chhote Sarkar, was being transported from jail to Danapur court. The shooters ambushed and fatally shot him, leaving the Bihta resident — who had a history of numerous criminal cases — dead. The motive behind the murder remains unclear.

A Notorious History-Sheeter
Two people responsible for the shooting have been swiftly arrested and are currently under police custody. The deceased, a history sheeter held at Beur jail, faced charges ranging from murder to extortion. Notably, Abhishek, a notorious "contract killer," had previously attacked the daughter of former MLA Surendra Sharma, who had allegedly contracted him to kill his daughter in exchange for Rs 20 lakh.
Last year, Abhishek executed the attack, leading to his arrest and subsequent imprisonment in Beur jail alongside his brother Rahul.
