IND-W vs AUS-W ODI: The 3rd ODI between the Indian women's team and the Australian women's team, which was initially supposed to be held on March 1 at the Junction Oval, has been shifted to Hobart's Bellerive Oval. This shift was important since the new floodlights being used at Junction Oval wouldn't be prepared well in time for the day-night clash. At the same time, the ongoing construction has restricted the access of the fans, making it impractical for the match to be held there.

Cricket Australia was hoping that the floodlights would be prepared well in time ahead of the game. But surprisingly, planning and construction delays have ensured that this doesn't happen. Since there's only a one-day gap between the 2nd and 3rd ODIs, the match has not been held there. The MCG is also unavailable owing to renovation work, which has restricted its options.

At the same time, the second and third ODIs would be held at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart to ensure the series schedule remained uninterrupted. Peter Roach, who is the head of cricket operations of Cricket Australia, is quite disappointed with the venue change, and they are excited about holding the first international match at Junction Oval.

The Women in Blue's series against Australia from February 15 to March 9 next year consists of three T20Is and as many ODIs, and one 4-day Test match. They will also face each other for a three-match ODI series later this month, and then they will be playing the Women's World Cup.
