ICC Women's World Cup 2025 Points Table: South Africa took an impressive jump in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 points table with a dominating victory over Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the match 18 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday, October 17.
South Africa women are now placed second with their fourth win in the tournament after five matches and stand on the verge of their qualification for the semifinals. They have 8 points under their belt. Australia, who already have made it to the knockouts, stand at the top of the standings with four points and nine points after five games.

England are placed third and will be in action against India women in their next match on Sunday. India women stand fourth in the standings after successive defeats against South Africa and Australia, whereas New Zealand complete the top five. The White Ferns have won just one match in the tournament so far after four games. They will be up against Pakistan on Saturday.

Pakistan are placed at the bottom as they are yet to register their first win in the marquee tournament while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are placed sixth and seventh respectivelty.

Notably, the SL-W vs SA-W match witnessed the rain interruption and was reduced a 20 overs a side contest. Sri Lanka scored 105 runs in their 20 overs, but South Africa were given 121 as a revised target. They chased down the target in just 14.5 overs with both openers Laura Wolvaardt (60*) and Tazmin Brits (55*) hitting fifties.
