Almost all the Indian players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant attended the training session for a few hours. Pant was also seen getting treatment after being hit on the head. But the visitors breathed a sigh of relief as the star wicket-keeper batter joined in the training session soon.
The Men in Blue have had a brilliant time in Brisbane as they had scripted here the last time they played here. They had become the first team in 33 years to have won a Test match at this venue. Although the visitors were affected by injuries to a few main players, they were able to chase down the mammoth target of 328 runs during the fourth innings and eventually won the series by 2-1.
India were skittled out for just 36 runs during the first innings the last time they played here. But the Ajinkya Rahane-led side created history by defeating Australia at Gabba in the last Test match.
