IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Super 4: India had won the toss and chose to bowl first during their Super 4 match against arch-rival Pakistan in the ongoing tournament. During toss, Suryakumar Yadav revealed that they have made two changes in their playing XI, whereas Agha said that Pakistan have included Hussain Talat and Faheem Ashraf will be replacing Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah.
Who Is Hussain Talat: Career And Stats So Far
Hussain Talat, who is Pakistan's experienced batter, has played in 4 ODIs and 19 T20Is. Hailing from Lahore, he made his international debut during a T20I match against the West Indies way back in 2018.
He usually plays as an all-rounder. He is a left-handed batter who can bowl a few overs at medium pace.
After playing in 4 ODIs, he has scored 75 runs at an average of 25. At the same time, he has scored 395 runs after playing in 19 T20Is, which includes two fifties at a staggering average of 23.23 and a strike rate of 117.21. He had also taken five wickets in this format.
Speaking about his performance in domestic cricket, he has featured in 73 First-Class, 110 List-A, and 198 T20 matches. He has enjoyed success in T20Is as he has scored 3985 runs at an average of 30.66 and a strike rate of 125.72. He has replaced Hasan Nawaz, who has scored just 17 runs after playing in three matches of this tournament.
He has represented 3 teams-Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL. Due to his all-round skills, he can play a huge role in boosting Pakistan's batting attack and also bowl a few overs in the match against India.
