IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025: The Men in Green haven'tbegun their stint during the ongoing tournament and will lock horns with Oman on Friday. Before their first match and the high-octane clash against India, skipper Salman Ali Agha had been dealt with an injury scare. He also didn't attend the practice session on Wednesday in Dubai, where the whole team underwent a fitness test.

As per Geo News, Salman Agha was seen wearing a bandage at his neck as he was reeling from a neck spasm.He did travel with the team but didn't attend practice sessions and football drills.His limited body movements worried everyone in the team since the high-octane clash against India would be held on Sunday.

But the PCB has dismissed such claims, stating that it was a small injury and that Salman didn't attend training sessions as precautionary measures. He would soon be attending a training session, and the team management is optimistic that he will recover well in time for the match against India.

Salman is confident of a good show in the Asia Cup.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led team began their campaign on a high as they had defeated the UAE  by nine wickets. The match lasted for only 106 balls as the Men in Blue chased the target of 58 runs in just 4,3 overs. The Salman Ali Agha-led side will aim to perform well against Oman during their tournament opener.

"I think we are playing good cricket, we started that a few months ago. Things are coming together, as a team we are playing good cricket and looking forward to this tournament, and everyone is very excited," he had said during the pre-match press conference.
