WBBL 2025: Australia's star wicket-keeper batter Beth Mooney left the fans laughing in the WBBL 2025 match against Sydney Sixers, where she had a hilarious reaction to Jemimah Rodrigues' reply. She reacted this way when Rodrigues jokingly said that she wasn't sure as to whether they would let her enter Australia after her match-winning knock against them in the semifinal, where they were eliminated from the race to the final.

In the WBBL 2025, Jemimah Rodrigues, before Brisbane Heat's match against Melbourne Renegades, had joked that she was skeptical about her entry in Australia post her semifinal heroics against Australia. And then in a different match, Mooney took advantage of the opportunity and reacted hilariously.

“We heard Jemi say earlier that she was worried they weren’t going to let her in the country because they beat us, but I actually thought they weren’t going to let us back in for losing. Thankfully, immigration let me in,” Mooney was heard as saying in the Perth Scorchers vs Sydney Sixers game.

Jemimah Rodrigues' semifinal knock at the mega event was brilliant, where she scored 127 runs and helped chase the mammoth target of 339 runs along with skipper Hamanpreet. They had stitched a match-winning partnership of 167 runs for the third wicket and helped the host reach the final. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side then defeated South Africa in the summit clash and won their first World Cup, but Jemimah's innings against the Alyssa Healy-led side was one of the talking points of India's campaign in the mega event.

She had a disappointing start to WBBL 2025 as she had scored just six runs while playing for Brisbane Heat against Melbourne Renegades. At the same time, Perth Scorchers lost to Sydney Sixers by 10 wickets, and this means that both Jemimah and Mooney faced challenges in their WBBL 2025 opener.
