“A memorable post-match catch-up in the dressing room with a lot of smiles, learnings and pictures,” the BCCI wrote on social media on Friday while sharing a video from the interaction.
Smriti, Deepti Share Their Experience
The Hong Kong players got an opportunity to interact closely with some of India’s biggest stars.
Smriti Mandhana first spoke to the group in a light-hearted interaction outside the dressing room. Deepti Sharma was then seen signing jerseys and speaking to Hong Kong’s spinners about bowling variations and different ways of preparing for matches.
The session gave the Hong Kong players a chance to ask questions and pick up some useful tips from the Indian team.

Richa Ghosh, Bharti Fulmali, Nandni Sharma, Pratika Rawal, Sree Charani, Prema Rawat, Renuka Singh Thakur and Shafali Verma also spent time speaking with the opposition players about training, preparation and the challenges of playing international cricket.
Harmanpreet Kaur And Natasha Miles Exchange Jerseys
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur also shared a warm moment with Hong Kong captain Natasha Miles.
Harmanpreet signed match balls and a shirt for Hong Kong player Maryam Bibi before exchanging jerseys with Natasha.
The players from both teams later came together for a group photograph, bringing a memorable evening to an end.
The interaction offered a reminder that cricket is not always about the result. For an associate team like Hong Kong China, sharing a dressing room with one of Asia’s strongest sides also provided an opportunity to learn from players with greater international experience.
India To Face Pakistan Next
India will now turn their attention to their next Group A match against arch-rivals Pakistan on Saturday. Hong Kong China, meanwhile, will face the Fatima Sana-led Pakistan side on Monday.
