Chaitanyanand Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, the manager of a management institute accused of molesting 17 female students, was arrested by the Delhi Police late last night from a hotel in Agra’s Tajganj area. The accused had been staying at the hotel since Saturday evening.
After a brief questioning of around 15 minutes in his hotel room, Baba Chaitanyanand was brought to the Vasant Kunj police station in Delhi. He is scheduled to be presented before the Patiala House Court in Delhi today.
Police traced Chaitanyanand’s location in Agra on Wednesday and immediately issued a lookout notice. Acting on the information, the Delhi Police reached Hotel First on Fatehabad Road in the Tajganj area at around 3 am on Saturday.
Hotel staff said two plainclothes officers checked the hotel register before proceeding to room number 101, where Chaitanyanand was staying. After questioning him for about 15 minutes, the officers took him along with his belongings.

Hotel employees confirmed that Chaitanyanand had arrived at the hotel around 4 pm on Saturday and had ordered food from the restaurant, but no visitors came to meet him. The hotel staff were unaware of his activities during his stay.
The Crime Branch later brought Chaitanyanand Saraswati to Delhi for further proceedings.
