CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has further extended the deadline for applying for single girl child scholarships till February 8, 2025. Eligible and qualified individuals can apply for scholarships and renew them through the official website, cbse.gov.in. It is encouraged not to wait until the last minute to register, since candidates may experience server troubles and miss the deadline.

Schools can now check applicants' information until February 15, 2025. Previously, the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 registration deadline was extended to January 10, giving hopefuls more time to apply.

The goal of the CBSE merit scholarship initiative is to award scholarships to deserving single female students who are the only child of their parents, have finished the CBSE Class X Examination with 70% or more marks, and are continuing their education in Class XI and XII.

The project aims to acknowledge parents' efforts to promote education among girls and to support deserving kids. The amount of scholarships for a given year will vary and will be offered to all "Single Girl Students" who received 70% or higher marks in the CBSE Class X Examination that year.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria

Before registering, ensure you meet the qualifying requirements for the single girl child scholarship.

* All single girl students who have scored 70% or above in the CBSE Class X test and are enrolled in a CBSE-affiliated school with a tuition charge of no more than Rs. 2,500/- per month are qualified. Their tuition price in classes XI and XII shall not exceed Rs. 3,000/- each month.

* NRI candidates to the Board are also eligible for the award. The tuition price for NRIs has been set at a maximum of Rs. 6,000/month.

* The scholarship will only be offered to Indian nationals.

* The student must continue her education in Class XI and XII at school.

* Those who completed the CBSE Class X Exam in 2024 would be eligible.

* A scholar under the system who receives a scholarship may also be eligible for various concessions offered by the school where she is studying or by other organizations.

* Students with a gross parental/family income of up to Rs. 8 lakh per year are eligible for scholarships under the initiative.

Applicants must thoroughly review all qualifying conditions prior to applying. They can learn more by following the steps provided.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024' link.
Step 3: After this, complete the registration process and then log in.
Step 4: Now, fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents and make the payment.
Step 5: Download the page and take a printout of the same for further reference.
