DU UG Admission 2024: The Delhi University (DU) will start the registration process for round 1 of spot admissions tomorrow, September 18. The vacant seats list will be uploaded at 10 am on September 18. According to media reports, the total confirmed seats are 72,263. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for DU UG spot admissions on the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
According to the schedule, the spot admissions application process will start on September 18 at 10 am and close at 11:59 pm on September 19. Seat allocation will be announced on September 21 at 3 pm.
Applicants who applied for the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG) 2024 but have not been admitted to any college by September 17 are eligible to participate in the Spot Round-I admission process.
To take part, DU UG seat aspirants must select ‘Spot Admission’ through their dashboard, as indicated in the notification. Once a seat is allocated, candidates have until 11:59 pm on September 22 to accept the offer. The final date for making the online payment to secure the seat is 4:59 pm on September 24. Moreover, candidates can only choose from program-college combinations with available seats based on their category.

Candidates must accept the seat allocated during the spot round. Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of their eligibility for admission to Delhi University and exclusion from the CSAS(UG)-2024 admission process.
Moreover, there will be no option to upgrade or withdraw seats during the spot admission rounds. The seat allocated in a specific spot round will be final and cannot be upgraded in any subsequent admission rounds.
The dashboards of all admitted candidates will be locked in freeze mode, and withdrawals will not be permitted after 5 pm on September 17, according to the notice.
